| Tuscan Heights Lavender Gardens are currently CLOSED. We will reopen on June 7th for our: 3rd Annual Lavender Open House & Festival Tuscan Heights Lavender Gardens tm Shasta County, CA 12757 Fern Road East * PO Box 206 Whitmore, CA 96096 * (530) 472-3066 We are a thirteen acre estate, dedicating just under six acres to Organic Lavender and Herb Gardening. We are located on the majestic mountain side of Fern Road EAST in Whitmore, CA, just 35 miles east of Redding, CA. We are host's to nearly 200 different Lavender plant varieties. Currently there are about 17,000 (or more) plants, in the ground. From L. Angustifolia (True English), to L. x Intermedia (Lavandin), to L. x Stoeches (Spanish), to L. Angustifolia x lanata, and a limited planting of tender L. x tropicals. We have OVER 30,000 (and counting) Lavender, culinary herbs & edible flowers, and wine grape plants growing in our Gardens, but, we are not finished there! We are constantly working on finding more varieties to add to our beautiful patchwork quilt cutting garden. We are currently working with farms from Oregon and Washington to acquire new varieties. Our GOAL, over the next two to three, is to have over 300 varieties of Lavender in our Gardens and over 30,000 plants growing on our farm. We plan on utilizing approximately five acres to grow this hearty Mediterranean plant, as well as our culinary herb and edible flower garden. We are also utilizing about one acre for our new Italian wine gardens, perfectly named: Le Vigne alle Altezze Toscane The Vineyards at Tuscan Heights We will expand the Grape Gardens to over Six acres in the years to come. We are the premier Lavender Farm/Nursery of Shasta County, CA & working on being the Largest Lavender Variety Grower in Northern California.
